Diabetes Self Management Classes:
4 two-hour sessions to educate those diagnosed with diabetes on ways to help manage their disease. Topics include the following: Diabetes Overview, Nutrition, Activity and Foot Care Monitoring, Medications, Complications and Sick Days, and Miscellaneous Topics
Each participant will have a pre and post class individual assessment with a registered nurse and a registered dietician who are Certified Diabetes Educators. Pre-registration and a Doctor's referral are required. For more information please click here or call 687-4188.

Six consecutive one-hour classes help participants to gain healthy lifestyle practices to reduce risk factors for heart disease. This is a program offered by The American Cancer Society in conjunction with the Personal Care Products Council and the National Cosmetology Association. This program is provided free of charge to women undergoing treatment for cancer. The program teaches beauty techniques, which help combat the appearance, related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Participants will receive a personal cosmetic kit worth $250.00. Pre-registration is required.
