Visiting Hours
For visitation at times other than those listed below, visitors must obtain a special pass from the patient's nurse. Visitors to a patient's room are limited to two persons per patient at a time. All visitors are required to enter and leave the hospital via the lobby entrance.
Important Notice to Patients and Visitors
Brookhaven Hospital cares about our patients, community and visitors and we are committed to providing the highest quality of care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our community is seeing a dramatic increase in reported cases of the H1N1 flu.
This increase is particularly prominent in the pediatric population.
Because we care about you and all of our patients, we have decided to make the following temporary changes to our visitor policy:
- Children under the age of 17, unless they are a patient, are temporarily restricted from all inpatient care areas.
Visiting hours for the various hospital units are as follows:
Medical/Surgical
12 noon - 8:00 p.m. All Other Visitors: 12 noon - 8:00 p.m.

Intensive and Coronary Care
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.

8:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
