Community Support is the Foundation of Our Medical Center
Generous community support has enabled the Medical Center to maintain its high quality, compassionate medical care for nearly forty years. Dedicated individuals, corporations and community groups have contributed their time and talents to ensure that our hospital is equipped to serve our patients.
Generous community support has enabled the Medical Center to maintain its high quality, compassionate medical care for nearly forty years. Dedicated individuals, corporations and community groups have contributed their time and talents to ensure that our hospital is equipped to serve our patients.
The acquisition of modern sophisticated equipment, advanced continuing education of our staff and hospital renovations are some of the areas helped each year by the dollars raised and the efforts put forth by hundreds of volunteers. Recent examples of this generosity include our Telemetry Unit, a Breast Health Center, a Special Procedures Suite and a poison control computer system that allows Emergency Department staff and physicians to identify thousands of hazardous substances that could be accidentally swallowed.
Renovations to our facilities are also made possible through gifts from community groups, such as the Patchogue Kiwanis support of the Pediatrics Unit and major renovations to our Emergency Department.
You too can help. Each contribution is vital to our mission and each one helps us provide services for our community. If you are interested in making a gift in cash or appreciated property to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, please call Chris Banks, Vice President of Development and External Relations at 631-654-7350.
